Join us to help the most needy For many years, our company is working with small communities around Lares valley (a new alternative route to Inca Trail) where the most of them are forget by our Peruvian authorities. The last few years, we have mainly concentrated on helping schools in the communities where we distribute school supplies such as pencils, pens, notebooks, cards of various colors, paints and brushes, ballpoints pens, encyclopedia, books, dictionaries, educational posters and additional crayons and colored pencils , sports items such as footballs, volleyballs, volley ball’s nets, warm cloths such as sweaters, jackets , pants so any donation from you as our travelers , will be welcomed Join us to help the most needy How you can help us to help our community project? You can help us with babies and children’s clothes of all types, Adults clothes (mainly warm sweaters, jackets and waterproof clothing). Exclusions: please no underwear, socks etc. All clothing must be washed and clean prior to donation. / Toys: All types but not battery operated. / Picture books (all languages) and children’s books in Spanish. Other items after your stay in Peru: Sleeping bags, backpacks, walking boots. Join us to help the most needy What happen if I leave things at your office in Cusco, how do I know you’ll distribute them fairly? When you leave items at our office in Cusco (Address: Carmen Bajo street 257 – San Blas) we’ll ask you to register your items in our project log book. We’ll ask for your name, email address and a brief description of the items you are donating. We’ll keep a file of our distributions including details of the items distributed, the date and village, as well as a photographic journal of each distribution. All will be available for inspection in our office. We will also transfer this information onto our web site which will be updated on a quarterly basis with news of the appeal’s progress.

2017

Thanks to god, we had more gifts to bring to another village of Choquecancha located in front where we made the last year but we had to share again with them. Finally, we made it and every one of South Adventure is happy after this fantastic charity in the Andes of Lares where Ruben`s (owner) was born. To our return to Cusco, I and my wife offered to our team a great dinner at one the restaurant called SANTA CATA and then we had to share our secret gifts between us for Christmas. 

Choquecancha 2016

We brought to Machu Picchu more than 50 children (2 teachers + 2 parents) from one of the small schools of Choquecancha (fifth, fourth and third grade) located in the Lares Valley, 6 hours from Cusco. We had to leave CUSCO the night before to be picked up at 4:00 am, we took them in 3 PRIVATE cars to Ollantaytambo where they took the train to Machu Picchu and enjoyed it as much as their first time, we provided them with a local Quechua-speaking guide in its original language, offer meals such as breakfast, lunch and dinner, drinks, tickets to the Machu Picchu sanctuary, bus tickets up / down Aguas calientes – Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes, private transportation Cusco – Calca – Lares – Choquecancha – Ollantaytambo – Calca – Lares – Choquecancha however, we spend more than US $ 4,950 on this project and in our next plan is to take the rest of first and second grade children.

Village of Cachin 2015

Arrival to Cachin located over 3,500 meter about sea level so basically this colorful community is covered by huge mountains with beautiful landscape, recently this village is famous due that the company of beer Cusqueña from Cusco made a great promotion with their traditional textile so the people can enjoy in any local TV.

Making our camping if for any rain while the local people are preparing the delicious chocolate which will be served in a few hours. The arrival of papa noel with all the presents, some kids were impressed after seeing him as first time. Sharing the delicious hot chocolate with big tasty breads and making very happy to everybody..Our fantastic team who are working hard to make their dreams true Giving the Christmas gifts and also some presents to their parents..The thanksgiving from one their teachers, a nice photo with all our team so our company is proud of them.

Lares Valley 2014

Plan is a global Charity. We work with a group of indigenous people (children & adults) of the Valley of Lares to help them build a better future. Giving them clothing such as shoes / slippers / t-shirts / jackets / pants / shorts / sandals / staple food / school supplies. With your support children, families and entire communities have the power to move themselves from a life of poverty to a future with opportunity…. Every year, we provide them such as: meals, clothing, school supplies and toys for the children’s .We prepare hot chocolate with Christmas breads / gifts and we share with them and we are happy to do every time due that our government does not helps them…Every customer who pays for our services, 10% of the total amount goes directly to help our community project which is our responsibility as a Travel Agency.
