At 7:00am, our guide will pick you up from your hotel to start with this lovely tour to the
Sacred Valley (The Valley is located 500 meters lower than the Cusco City, allowing a better process for
acclimatizing to the altitude) the ancient capital of the Inca empire. This mountainous region of Peru offers mystical
awe-inspiring sights to discover. You will also stop at CRISTO BLANCO (White Crist) with a
special view of the Cusco city, it’s nearly impossible to visit Cusco region without taking note
of the 26-foot tall. The statue, called Cristo Blanco (Spanish for “white Christ “) which that
stands guard over the ancient city, imposing from its perch atop the nearby hill of Pukamoqo.
The statue also brims with meaning and metaphor. Its physical stature illustrates the primacy of
Catholicism in Peru, and with the erstwhile seat of the Inca Empire in its shadow, the imagery
of colonial conquest is manifest. While Rio de Janeiro’s Christ the Redeemer may be the South
America’s most famous statue of Christ, the white Christ sculpture of Cusco is central to the
identity of one of the continent’s most culturally and historically important cities. The funds
to create the giant Jesus statue were donated by Arabic Palestinians who had come to Cusco after
the Second World War, as a show of gratitude for the city’s welcoming hospitality. After a brief
of information, you will continue with the tour to the Sacred valley where you will enjoy the
breathtaking mountainous region of Peru offers mystical awe-inspiring sights to discover. The
tour includes the stop at Awana Kancha or (Alpaca farm) an exhibition Centre of Textiles and
South American Camelids. You will be shown the different methods of processing the alpaca fiber,
from the animal to the final product. Alpaca Farm is a weaving center with the goal to keep
alive the traditional textile arts. Here you can see four members of the camelid’s family –
llama, alpacas, vicunas and guanacos. Alpaca has thick wool and is the most commonly used while
the vicunas are small and delicate with fur considered the finest. You can meet these fours
camelids, learn about the harvesting of the different wools and the natural dying techniques and
have change to see native weavers from different areas showing their weaving style and dress
afterwards, we continue with visit to the Andean native markets and ruins of Pisac. This
mountainous region of Peru offers mystical awe-inspiring sights to discover… along with farms
and villages that welcome you with a taste of daily life. Afterwards, you will continue with the
tour to one of the famous Inca sites of Moray. This is a fascinating, unique ruin; the Incas
used a fabulous amphitheater of terracing that as an agricultural experimental site by taking
advantage of the microclimates produced by the varying altitude to breed new varieties of their
crops. Afterwards, you will continue with the tour to the village of Maras, and the saltpans,
which have made it famous. The saltpans are an unforgettable site-people from Maras have
diverted a salt-laden spring coming out of the hillside, evaporating the water to collect salt,
as their ancestors have done for centuries. We will walk among the saltpans; witnessing a scene
largely unchanged from Inca times. Afternoon, you will explore Ollantaytambo, an archaeological
site that the Incas built as a fort and includes a temple, agricultural terraces, and an urban
area. There are two distinct sectors: Araqama Ayllu, the religious and worship zone,
and Qosqo Ayllu, the residential area. Ollantaytambo was an important administrative center with
probable military functions due to the walls and towers. There are also traces of ancient roads
and aqueducts. The town of Ollantaytambo is called a Living-Inca-Town, since the inhabitants
maintain very old practices and customs. Around 5pm , you will be drop off at the
hotel Sol Ollantay Boutique Ollantaytambo based on 3-Star category , 4-star
category upon your request. Based on double or twin rooms.
Important note: In case no one in the group DO NOT want to do the short Inca Trail, it should
not be a problem since you can continue the trip by direct train to Aguas Calientes, just let us
know 1 Day before, even if part of the group wants to continue with the walk there would be no
problem since the meeting with the rest will be at the end of the day around 5:00 pm in Aguas
Calientes.
After your breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up from your
Hotel in Ollantaytambo for a train journey of just over one hour till kilometer
104 (starting point of our trek). As soon as we arrive to this point, we will
cross a bridge to the check point and show your passports then we will start a soft walk into
the other side of the Vilcanota River the trail heads off to the right towards the ruins of
Chachabamba. After a visit this impressive Inca ruins with buildings on stone, we`ll continue
the trail road most of it on stone steps, heads south and begin climbing the mountain, great
views around of the high jungle area and mountains, before entering the cloud forest. Then the
trail leaves the forest and goes west while continuing the uphill hike in open grassland. After
hiking in the sun for about three hours, the trail descends into a shaded forest. This is where
trekkers can enjoy a beautiful waterfall. After leaving the waterfall and forest, trekkers will
arrive at the lower part of the incredible ruins of Wiñay Huayna, steps to climb to reach the
superior edifications described as temples. We will have plenty of time for a guided exploration
sorted by our experienced guide and time to explore and pictures in our own. By the time we
arrive to this complex, it will not be crowded, because most trekkers headed to the Sun gate and
Machu Picchu. It is recommended that you start the trek with at least 2 liters of water. After
lunch in Wiñay Huayna ruins, we continue through a cloud forest full of bromeliads, orchids and
fern trees. You will walk the last part of the original trail with amazing features stone steps
and tambos, resting places, and climb the 60 steps before arriving to the Inti Punku or “Sun`s
Gate”. From this point, you will be able to contemplate and observe this marvelous place, last
45 minutes to be on front of this wonder, where you can feel an inner peace. Spend a short time
for pictures and views then we prepare our mind for the next early morning, time to take a bus
for 30 minutes to Aguas Calientes town. Hot springs pools are optional or just free time to
chill out at this small village. Night at the Hotel Retama MachuPicchu 3-star category based on 3-Star category , 4-star category upon your request. Based on

Please take Note: Consider that the Train Companies covering the service to Machu Picchu
don´t allows passengers to travel with voluminous baggage, allowing only a small piece of
hand-luggage that should travel with the passenger. This is why we suggest travelling with a
small backpack or bag, where you can pack only what is strictly necessary for your stay in
Machu Picchu. We will take care of taking your heavy luggage to your hotel in Cusco.
This day, is one of the most interesting and glorious day during your whole trip, you will be
picked up from your Hotel very early where our guide will meet you at your hotel at 5:00am to
aboard the first touristic and shared bus to drop off you at the main door where you have to
show your original PASSPORTS at the check point , and then try to be the first visitors inside
of the wonder of the world Machu Picchu and the archaeological sites you will have complete
guided tour during 2 to 3 hours of this spectacular mystical place. The GUIDED tour includes
walk through the different sections such as The Urban sector, the agriculture sector, and the
Inca Culture used the religions zone. After the guided tour in Machu Picchu, you will have free
time to explore by yourself, walk at your own space, many selfies and to meet other tourists
into the sanctuary.
At the time of your entrance to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain, your guide will
direct you to the entrance to either of the two so that you can continue with your walk,
which will take between 2 to 3 hours to go up and down. Any of these walks will be done on
your own and must be booked months in advance and pay an additional USD 95 at the time of
booking.
Afternoon, bus down to Aguas calientes for lunch, walking around, thermal baths, visit some
museums, and botanic gardens. Afternoon you will catch the train ride back to Cusco, and upon
your arrival pick up and drop off at your hotel at Hotel Tierra Viva Saphi Cusco 3-star Category or Casa Andina Premium 4-star category
In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel at 4:30 or 5:00am, and then we will travel
during 2 hours of drive straight till MOLLEPATA village where we will enjoy our delicious
breakfast, and free time to use the restroom and make the last shopping at little stores. At the
appropriate time, we will continue with our trip to Challacancha, which is the starting point of
the hike to HUMANTAY lake and SALKANTAY trek. Our first part of the journey takes about 3 hours
to reach Soraypampa (3,900 m.a.s.l.), where we’ll have our delicious lunch surrounded by
stunning mountain landscapes. After our lunch, we’ll begin the ascent to the beautiful Humantay
lake, located at 4,200 m.a.s.l. The hike takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to get the
lake from where, you’ll enjoy one of the most impressive views of the trip, with the turquoise
lake at the foot of the snow-capped Humantay mountain, perfect for taking photographs. After
spent a prudent time, we’ll return to SORAYPAMPA, where we’ll have dinner and spend the night in
camping, sky-lodge or dormitories. .

Today also is one of the most glorious and challenge day, but rewarding since we will hike up to
the highest pass to Salkantay (4,600 masl ) we will wake up at 5:00am with a warm cup of coca
tea , followed by our nice breakfast , time to get ready and finally we will begins our ascent
to the Salkantay Pass which rises to an impressive pass 4,630 masl / 15190ft . The hike itself
takes around 3 to 4 hours, and you will be able to hike at your own pace. In the middle of the
hike, we will also walk up a zig zag trail that climbs “7 serpents” which is very interesting
hike. After a well-deserved rest and taking unforgettable photographs, we’ll begin the 2-hour
and 30-minute descent to Soraypampa, where we’ll have lunch before boarding our
transport back to Cusco, arriving around 6:00 p.m.
After your breakfast or afternoon, pick up from your hotel and transfer to the airport.
