Afternoon or morning depending of your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Lima. Upon your arrival to the Capital city of Lima (Flight details: to be confirmed) our representative will be waiting for you, holding an small board written your names and then, you will be transferred to Hotel for check in at one of this following hotels in Miraflores district. Afternoon, free time for leisure.
An early start to visit the Colca canyon, the second deepest canyon in the world (the deepest canyon lies only a few kilometers from here). We shall witness the incredible pre-Inca terracing all along the valley before arriving to the Cruz del condor in order to see the huge condor; the world’s largest flying bird. We shall also visit some small towns in the area, witnessing life as it must have looked several hundred years ago. Around 1pm, enjoy a tasty and traditional buffet lunch and afternoon, transport to Arequipa and drop of one this following hotels in the white city. (Dinner on your own)
At 5:45am, you will be picked up from your Hotel for the tour to Chivay and then you will have the following stops along your trip Stop at Lagunillas for bird-watching and seeing little lakes, Pampa Cañahuas for drinking some Coca tea, Patapampa for seeing Volcanoes (4,950 m.a.s.l) finally arrives to Chivay. Upon your arrival, you will be dropped off at one of this following hotels. This trip Includes: Fully equipped transport with Oxygen cylinder , heating , music , TV , Video player / Tourist stops with English speaking guides on board / Snack , mineral water , Coca leaf tea or coffee.
After your breakfast at the local family house, pick up to continue with the tour to Taquile Island which takes around 3 hours by motor boat where you will explore and enjoying a pristine sandy beach there you will have plenty of time to relax and feel the serenity of Titicaca. Then hike through a pre-Inca terraces where you will be guided around the pre-Inca terraces and visit these nice people with their typical dresses and famous for their intricate and fascinating weavings. We will also visit some local families of weaving at their home and you will learn about their textile art and symbolism that has been declared by UNESCO as WORLD HERITAGE.
After your delicious local lunch, you will continue walking around this amazing mountain and visiting some local families and see their tradition. Afternoon, you will walk down till the port to catch the motor boat and return to Puno around 5:00pm, dropped off at the Hotel. (Dinner on your own)
Between 7:30 are to 8am you will be picked up from your hotel. Travel and after 2 hours by motor boat and then you will arrive at the Uros Island. Fishermen and hunters inhabit the floating islands of the Uros. The residents of the Uros use the cattail, a type of rush, which grows in the lake, to create the conditions that ensure the islands stay afloat. The dense roots that the plants develop support the island. The roofs are waterproof and the houses are extremely humid because of the surrounding water…Continue traveling in our boat, we will get the next island called Amantani, just arriving there will be first contact with local’s families, they bring you up to the homes, there you get your accommodation for one night in basic typical room between the agriculture fields. The local family will supply yours all foods.
After lunch the entire group together walk up to highest point of island, called Pachatata temple 4200m. Is the best place to get pictures from all surround views of this blue sacred lake of the Incas…After the explanation of your tour guide, back to the homes to get your dinner and then you can go to enjoy typical dances with the local music players. Overnight in local family home.
After your delicious buffet breakfast, pick up by our specialist staff and then you will be dropped off at the bus terminal to start this unforgettable experience. There are several ways to make this journey including a bus ride (10 Hours) that includes tourist stops at Andahuaylillas, Tipón, Raqchi, Pikillacta, and Sicuani for buffet lunch, La Raya and Pucara with spectacular views.
At 9:00 am, we will pick you up at your hotel, after one and a half hours drive we arrive to the put -in at the shores of the Upper Urubamba River, at “CUSIPATA RIVER SECTION”, our private campground. Our professional Rafting Guides will give you a safety talk and provide you with all the proper equipment for Rafting. We will be floating for approximately two and a half hours, traversing class II and III rapids. During the rainy season Dec. to early March, the rapids can be class IV and V plus.
Afterwards, we arrive to the take-out at “CUSIPATA RIVER CAMP”, where a hot Sauna and hot showers will be waiting you, also a full course lunch will be provided. As an option you can do a ZIP-LINE over 4 cables across the river.
Our return to Cusco should be around 5 in the afternoon and transfer back to your HOTEL. You should bring: Swimming suit / a complete set of dry clothing / a pair of sandals or tennis shoes for the river that will get wet Sun block / a small towel / a bathing suit to wear under the wet suit / a good positive mental attitude. San Pedro Market (One`s of the Biggest market of Cusco) On the walk to it you’ll generally notice more and more street vendors and ladies in traditional dress sitting on the side of the streets selling nuts, popcorn and other small bags of dried foods. You’ll spot more and more local shops (tiendas) selling the most random of things all in the one tienda. If you’re looking for an alpaca jumper, a freshly made juice, a bag of nectarines, some plantains to fry, buttifaras (ham sandwiches served on French bread) or some cheesy gifts for your parents or friends back home you’re definitely on your way to the right place!.
Afternoon, transfer back to your hotel (Meals on your own)
This day, is one of the most important and interesting days during your whole trip, you will be picked up from your Hotel very early (BEFORE the BIRDS SING) our guide will meet you at your hotel between 4:30 to 5:00am to aboard the first touristic and shared bus to drop off you at the main door where you have to show your original PASSPORTS and ISIC Cards ( If applicable ) at the check point , and then try to be the first visitors inside of the wonder of the world Machu Picchu and the archaeological sites you will have complete guided tour during 2 to 3 hours of this spectacular mystical place.
The GUIDED tour basically includes walk through the different sections such as: The Urban sector, the agriculture sector, and the religions zone was used by the Inca Culture. After the guided tour in Machu Picchu, you will have free time to explore by yourself, walk at your own space, a lot of selfies and to meet other tourists into the sanctuary. According with the time and to your physical conditions, you can coordinate with the tour guide to climb to HUAYNA PICCHU or Machu Picchu Mountain from where you can have the best panoramic view for photos of all Machu Picchu and of deep green canyon surrounding the sacred Inca Citadel.
Do not forget that this entrances, must be booked in advance and pay US$ 65 extra. Afternoon and depending on your train schedule back to Cusco, you will have to take the bus down to Aguas Calientes to catch the train back to Cusco.
After the guided tour, our guide will give you all the instructions for your bus down and train back to Cusco. Upon your arrival to Poroy station, you will be meeting again by our staff and then transfer back to your Hotel. (Dinner on your own)
After your breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up from your Hotel to transfer you to Ollantaytambo train Station for a train journey of just over one hour till kilometer 104 (starting point of our trek). As soon as we arrive to this point , we will cross a bridge to the check point and show your passports and student cards ( If is applicable ) then we will start a soft walk into the other side of the Vilcanota River the trail heads off to the right towards the ruins of Chachabamba. After a visit this impressive Inca ruins with buildings on stone, we`ll continue the trail road most of it on stone steps, heads south and begin climbing the mountain, great views around of the high jungle area and mountains, before entering the cloud forest. Then the trail leaves the forest and goes west while continuing the uphill hike in open grassland.
After hiking in the sun for about three hours, the trail descends into a shaded forest. This is where trekkers can enjoy a beautiful waterfall. After leaving the waterfall and forest, trekkers will arrive at the lower part of the incredible ruins of Wiñay Huayna, steps to climb to reach the superior edifications described as temples. We will have plenty of time for a guided exploration sorted by our experienced guide and time to explore and pictures in our own. By the time we arrive to this complex it won’t be crowded, because most trekkers headed to the Sun gate and Machu Picchu. It is recommended that you start the trek with at least 2 liters of water. After lunch in Wiñay Huayna ruins we continue through a cloud forest full of bromeliads, orchids and fern trees. You will walk the last part of the original trail with amazing features stone steps and tambos, resting places, and climb the 60 steps before arriving to the Inti Punku or “Sun`s Gate”. From this point you will be able to contemplate and observe this marvelous place, last 45 minutes to be on front of this wonder, where you can feel an inner peace. Spend a short time for pictures and views then we prepare our mind for the next early morning, time to take a bus for 30 minutes to Aguas Calientes town. Hot springs pools are optional or just free time to chill out at this small village.
After your delicious buffet breakfast, you will be pick up from your Hotel at 9:00am by your English speaking guide to explore a vital Inca road once snaked its way up the Canyon that enters the Urubamba valley at Pisac. The citadel, at the entrance to this gorge, now in ruins, controlled a route which connected the Inca Empire with Paucartambo, on the border of the eastern jungles. Set high above a valley floor patch – worked by patterned fields and rimmed by vast terracing , the stonework and panoramas at Pisaq’s Inca citadel are magnificent. Terraces, water ducts and steeps have been cut out of solid rock, and in the upper sector of the ruins, the main sun Temple is equal of anything at Machu Picchu. Above the temple lie still more ruins, mostly unexcavated, and among the higher crevices and rocky overhangs several ancient burial sites are hidden. Afterwards, you will return walking around the mountain or you can just catch our private transport to explore the modern Pisac is a picturesque Andean village, typical except for the huge, spreading pisonay tree that dominates the central square. The village is best known for its Sunday market although now is open every day, which draws hundreds of tourists each week. In spite of its popularity the market retains much of its local charm, at least in the part where villagers from miles around gather to barter and sell their products. In the tourist section of the market you can buy wide variety of Handcrafts – mostly the same things you can see in Cusco. Pisac is a good place to buy the local ceramics including a huge and varied collection of hand-painted multi-coloured beads.
Enjoy a tasty buffet lunch in one of the tasty restaurant in Urubamba (variety of dishes and vegetarian optional) after the lunch, we will continue with the tour to Ollantaytambo was an important administrative center with probable military functions due to the walls and towers. There are also traces of ancient roads and aqueducts. The town of Ollantaytambo is called a Living-Inca-Town, since the inhabitants maintain very old practices and customs.
Upon your arrival to Cusco (Flight details: to be confirmed) our guide and representative will be waiting for you, holding an small board written your names and then, you will be transferred to our office to get further information about the trip and pay the remainder balance while you will be informed, our staff will served you COCA tea to avoid the altitude sickness. At the appropriate time, you start with this lovely Sacred Valley (great option to acclimatize) the ancient capital of the Inca Empire, where you’ll board our private coach for a drive to the Sacred Valley. This mountainous region of Peru offers mystical awe-inspiring sights to discover.
The tour includes the visits the small zoo of Cochahuasi where you can observe the flight of the CONDOR`S, Andean pumas, fox, deer’s, parrots, macaws and variety of animals and birds and then you will visit Awana Kancha or (Alpaca farm) which is a weaving center with the goal to keep alive the traditional textile arts. Here you can see four members of the camelids family – llama, alpacas, vicunas and guanacos. Alpaca have thick wool and is the most commonly used while the vicunas are small and delicate with fur considered the finest. You can meet these fours camelids, learn about the harvesting of the different wools and the natural dying techniques and have change to see native weavers from different areas showing their weaving style and dress afterwards, we continue with visit to the Andean native markets and ruins of Pisac.

At 9:00, pick up to start with the PRIVATE LIMA CITY TOUR – Colonial & Modern: Visit The Government Palace, the Municipality palace, the Cathedral of Lima, and main colonial buildings around the Plaza Mayor, the 17th century Monastery of San Francisco the most magnificent colonial and monumental center of the America’s, you will find a Basilica with 21 altars, the convent with the cloister, the Clementine and Capitulars room, the choir, the monks library and the Prefunds Museum that exhibits 11 paintings of Rubens. The sacristy exhibits paints of Zurbaran and Rivera. The Gran Patio is garnished with Seville’s tiles from the XVI century and Moorish arcs. It also includes a visit to the underground tombs (catacombs).
Then a short tour of the modern districts of San Isidro and Miraflores visiting places like The Love Park or The Indian Market (souvenirs & handicrafts). Finally we will visit a shopping center named Larco Mar, which was built on a spectacular cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. .. We will also visit an exclusive restaurant “La Rosa Nautica”, where you will have the opportunity to prepare your own “Pisco Sour” and the famous “Ceviche”. Enjoy a delicious lunch, consisting of the most symbolic dishes of Peruvian cuisine.
