Important:

  • This tour starts from San Cristobal airport and ends at the Baltra airport
  • Transfers from San Cristobal airporto – hotel and Puerto Ayora to Baltra will
    be by land transport combined with the public boat.
  • Transfers from Santa Cruz Island to Isabela Island will be by public boat.

  • In Santa Cruz Island, San Cristobal and Isabela, wetsuits must be rented, price
    are around 10 or 15 usd usd per person.
  • The order of the visits or islands can be modified depending on
    availability and date the Galapagos National Park authorities.
Day 1 – ARRIVAL TO SAN CRISTOBAL – SUP PADDLE

Arrival in San Cristobal, our staff will transfer you to your hotel and take you to lunch.
Afterwards, you will meet your guide and have an introductory talk about stand-up
paddle and the area you will be paddling in. You will then go on a fun tour of the bay, a
great way to meet the “locals”, such as the playful and curious sea lions. The tour will
last approximately 2 hours. Dinners are not included, so you can choose where and
when to eat, you have different options in each port and all within reasonable walking
distance from your hotel.

Day 2 – VISIT KICKER ROCK – BEACH AND LUNCH.

This day after breakfast we will meet at the Tiburon dock, where we will meet the rest of
the group to set sail in a comfortable boat to (depending on the itinerary given by the
GNP, you will first visit either Leon Dormido or a beach) Leon Dormido or also called
Kicker rock is a cone of ancient and eroded volcanic lava and is formed by two rocks of
approximately 148 meters / 485 feet, so called because of its resemblance to a sleeping
lion.
All around you will see birds such as blue-footed boobies, Nazca boobies, and
underwater you will see black-tip sharks, hammerhead sharks, turtles, rays and fish of
different species.
Continuing with the tour, we will visit a beach, it can be Manglecito, Cerro Brujo or
Puerto Grande, Cerro Brujo or Puerto Grande.

Day 3 – MOUNTAIN BIKING AND EXPLORING TINTORERAS – ISABELA

This cycling adventure will start in Puerto Villamil, from where we will embark on a bike
ride that will take us through a variety of environments and ecosystems.
On the way, we will pass by white sandy beaches, mangrove forests and brackish
lagoons. Along the way, we will pass giant tortoises, flamingos and other animals, at
the end of our tour we will arrive at El Muro de las Lagrimas (The Wall of Tears), when
Isabela was used as a penal colony colony, the prisoners were forced to build this
imposing wall out of the rocks for no other reason than to distract them from the
madness of isolation. Finally, return to the village to continue the tour to Tintoreras.
On our return in the afternoon, we will visit Las Tintoreras, taking a short boat trip
around the harbour of Isabela Island. After passing sea lions and pelicans bathing in the
sun on the fishing boats there, we will arrive at the small island of Las Tintoreras.

Day 4 – TREKKING TO THE VOLCANO SIERRA NEGRA

This day we hike to the volcano Sierra Negra and the volcano Chico. The hike has a
total distance of 16 km, taking about 6 hours, but it is really worth it. During the
beautiful lava landscapes, lunch will be at the top of the volcano.

Day 5 – LAVA TUNNELS CAPE ROSA

Today’s excursion takes you to Los Tuneles, a fascinating landscape of huge lava
tunnels. Here you will see huge manta rays and turtles, you will have the opportunity to
snorkel with Galapagos penguins and tropical fish, you will see blue footed boobies.
Included: breakfast at the hotel, snack, snorkelling equipment, naturalist guide.

Day 6 – SANTA CRUZ ISLAND – CHARLES DARWIN SCIENTIFIC STATION – TORTUGA BAY

Early in the morning we will take the public boat to Santa Cruz Island. Then we will have
time for breakfast and leave the luggage at the hotel until it is time to check in. Then
we will go to Charles Darwin Station where we can learn more about the history of the
island and the care and protection that the National Park has for the giant tortoises.
Continue to enjoy Tortuga Bay, this place, is a beautiful white sandy beach, named for
being a nesting site for the black turtle. The walk will be for 2,5 km to the end of the
beach, the estimated walking time is about 50 minutes approximately. At the beach we
will have time for relaxing on the beach, then we will return to the hotel.

Day 7 – VISIT BARTOLOME ISLAND

This island, with its iconic pinnacle, is located northwest of Santa Cruz. Upon arriving at
Bartolome, we will have a dry landing. Then, we will begin the walk along a path that will
take us to the top of the island, through its 395 steps that will end with a spectacular
panoramic view of the island and its pinnacle, being the moment to take that stunning
photo of our trip. During the walk, we will observe small lava tunnels that are the product
of the last eruption and where endemic vegetation grow, such as lava cacti and tiquilla
plants, generally surrounded by Darwin’s finches.
After a breathtaking experience in Bartolome, we will enjoy a succulent lunch onboard
the yacht. Then, we will head towards Sullivan Bay, where we will enjoy the marine fauna
of the Galapagos while we snorkel. Sullivan Bay is one of the most beautiful places in the
Galapagos to snorkel due to its crystal-clear waters!

Day 8 – FREE DAY (Suggested Diving Tour)

This day will be to rest and enjoy the city and explore the corners that Puerto Ayora has
to offer. As an optional activity, not included in this day, we can suggest a day of diving,
this activity includes diving equipment, 2 dives and lunch (consult with your agent to
give you the options).

Day 9 – TRANSFER TO BALTRA AIRPORT

Early in the morning, we depart to Baltra airport to board your flight to the mainland.
