This trip and hike is basically for travelers who were NOT able to get the entrance to the Inca Trail at the time, it comes combined with daily tours such as City tour in Cusco, Sacred valley and Tour to Maras moray & Salt mines. Salkantay or Salkantay (In Quechua) is the highest peak of the Vilcabamba mountain range, part of the Peruvian Andes. It is located in the Cusco Region, about 60 km (40 mi) west – northwest of the city of Cusco.

It is the 38th highest peak in the Andes, and the twelfth highest in Peru. However, as a range highpoint in deeply incised terrain, it is the second most topographically prominent peak in the country, after Huascaran. Salcantay`s proximity to Machu Picchu makes trekking around it an alternative to the oversubscribed Inca Trail this is known as the Salkantay trek.

Book this wonderful and fascinating hike and join us!!

Important note: Due to the high demand and limit of entrances to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Montaña even to MACHU PICCHU, we strongly recommend you book in advance before sold out… There are only 400 entrances per day, this climbing depends much of weather conditions especially from January to March is not recommendable for rainy season (Cost for entrance to Huayna Picchu & Machu Picchu Montaña US$ 15 each
