What to bring /Carry

  • Daypack & Original passport.
  • Medical insurance card.
  • One backpack, sturdy duffel bag, or easily managed suitcase.
  • Long sleeve shirt or blouse and short sleeve shirts – a long sleeve cotton shirt is great for the jungle.
  • Waterproof pants & Cotton socks.
  • Sturdy shoes or hiking boots comfortable for walking.
  • Waterproof jacket or rain poncho especially for rain season between Januarys to March.
  • Bathing suit & Sandals.
  • Sun/ rain hat.
  • Camera with extra battery.
  • Sunblock of at least 15 SPF – the tropical sun is strong.
  • Insect repellant with DEET.
  • Anti-itch cream for insects bites.
  • Flashlight or headlamp with extra batteries.
